Live Concert and Workshop with Santiago Fernandez

St. Joseph Parish Sunnyside is hosting the festival for Saint Cecilia “The Patron Saint of Musicians” with special guest and award winner of the unity award of Best Album and Song of 2010, Santiago Fernandez. 

Santiago Fernández has been active in parish ministry for the past 30 years. He is currently Music Director at Church of the Holy Family in Novi, Michigan, where he directs the English and Spanish choirs. 

Santiago is a frequent speaker and workshop presenter at events and conferences around the country in the area of Hispanic liturgical music. He holds a bachelor's degree in music from Wayne State University in Detroit and is certified in both Pastoral Ministry and Liturgical Ministry, locally by the Archdiocese of Detroit and nationally by the USCCB's Commission on Certification and Accreditation. 

Come join us for live entertainment, live music from choirs all around Washington State and live bands, and 2 workshops by Santiago Fernandez. Admission fee is FREE for both days! EVERYONE IS WELCOME.
