 Where were you born, where did you grow up, how old are you?  
      

I was born in Pajacuarán, Michoacán Mexico, and I grow up in the same town where I was born. I am currently 37 years old. I was born on January 22, 1976.

 What church did you attend while growing up?  

The parish I attended since 1976 to 1991 was Saint Cristobal Church in Pajacuarán. In July 20, 1991, I arrived to the Diocese of Yakima, and my home parish since then is St. Peter the apostle, now St. Juan Diego in Cowiche.

 What is your favorite sport?                       

I love to play Futbol (soccer), racquetball, and volleyball.

 How many siblings do you have?               

We are eight siblings. We used to be nine, but a brother of mine, Jesús, passed away in a car accident in 1994.

 Do you have any special devotions?                      

Blessed Virgin Mary, under the title of Guadalupe, Fatima. The lives of saints are my favorite reading.

 Where are you at now in your process to priesthood?   

I am currently finishing my third year of theology. God willing, this summer I will be ordained as a deacon scheduled on July 19, 2013 and next year as a priest.

 What most attracted you to the life of a priest?  

Been able to bring Jesus Christ to the people. What most attracted me about priesthood is to be able to celebrate the sacraments and without a doubt in Persona Christi Capitis been able to reconcile the world with God, but most of all, to work on my holiness in every single sacrament celebration.

 What is your favorite bible verse?

John 9:1-41 – Man Born Blind
