The Office of Evangelization exists to empower Catholics to the work of evangelization, the fully living and sharing of the Catholic faith, as individuals and as a Church.

To this end the Director of Evangelization is responsible for the following:
Magnificat Pastoral Institute for Lay Formation
a three year formation program in Catholic doctrine, Scripture, social ethics, liturgy, Sacraments, and Christian spirituality;
The Deacon Formation Program
a three year period of personal discernment, intellectual inquiry, spiritual development, and liturgical training for men and their wives who are considering a vocation to the permanent diaconate; Coordinating the Diocesan Pastoral Council and serving as a diocesan resource to parish pastoral councils;

Supporting Small Church Communities through development of materials for prayer and faith sharing, leadership development, and pastoral care;
Resource for Parish Ministries, e.g. RCIA, Youth Ministry, training of liturgical and pastoral care ministers.
