Diocese of Yakima 2012 Youth Convention

Dear Youth Ministers and Leaders,

We would like to invite you and your teens to the 2012 Youth Convention- Friday, November 2 to Sunday, November 4. This convention will take place at St. Joseph's in Wenatchee with lodging available at Holy Apostles in East Wenatchee. Here is some helpful information for you:

The retreat is Friday, November 2 (registration starting at 6pm) to Sunday, November 4 (ends at noon). Cost- $40 per person. Please include payment for group leaders, chaperones and youth ministers. Lunch and dinner on Saturday will be provided and included in the cost of the convention.

Breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday are not provided. Sleeping accommodations are available at Holy Apostles. There are showers available. We are requiring that each parish register as a group. No one will be able to attend the retreat without being affiliated with a group. Each group needs to have the appropriate number of chaperones (one chaperone for every same gendered seven teens) . This is crucial for those staying the night at Holy Apostles.

Please send payment and the master registration form to: Holy Apostles- Attn. Lorin Lathrop, 1315 NE 8th Street, East Wenatchee, WA 98802. Make checks payable to the 'Diocese of Yakima.

Have your teens fill out the enclosed general diocese permission form for your records. Please do not send them in with your registration to Holy Apostles. You will need to have these forms with you at the convention.

Feel free to contact us with any questions- 509-884-4888. We look forward to seeing you in November!

In Him,

Lorin & Sharon Lathrop
