Extension Society Calendars

Dear Father:

I am hoping that if your calendars do not come through Catholic Extension Society that you will make every effort to make sure they do.  I just returned from a conference sponsored by Catholic Extension Society.  Roughly $300,000 a year comes from Catholic Extension Society funds, to help pay for seminarian education and several of our ministries.  The Diocese of Yakima will be increasing its strategic partnerships with Catholic Extension Society as well as selected donors coming to us through Catholic Extension Society.

I am aware that some receive calendars that are ordered through funeral homes or other organizations for free. Kindly encourage them to continue the practice, but to order through Catholic Extension, since the profits from these calendars go directly to our projects here in the Diocese of Yakima as well as projects in the other 90 mission dioceses here in the United States.
