Resources for Marriage

Dear Friends:

Father Michael McDermott is my old high school principal.  He is now the pastor at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Tacoma, Washington.  He has put together a very thoughtful booklet about some of the key issues such as religious liberty, same-sex marriage, and the USCCB's teaching document, "Conscience Formation for Faithful Citizenship."  This is a resource he developed for his parishioners.  It might be helpful for yours.  He has also developed a basic question and answer sheet on same-sex marriage based on questions placed in the Sunday collection basket.  Many are the kinds of questions some of our parishioners are asking as well.
