Dear Friends:

There is not one parish in the Diocese of Yakima that doesn't have some kind of devotion to the rosary.  It's consistent in Spanish and English.  Sometimes the rosary precedes a Sunday or daily Mass.  Sometimes it's prayed afterwards.  Often it's part of the program for confirmation preparation, local parish prayer groups and groups such as the Legion of Mary.  Here's a link that you might want to pass on to catechists and key parishioners regarding the "World Mission Rosary."  I hope this link provides some support to all you do during this Year of Faith especially in promoting Marian devotions.
