Nativity Sets on Display at Cathedral School

IT'S CHRISTMAS IN JULY!   Please come out to Saint Paul Cathedral School Gym to take a look at a Nativity collection, which belongs to Father Richard House, pastor of St. John in Naches.  This collection, which began in 1995, has grown to over 300 sets from around the world.  The largest is a five-foot, double-sided screen, created just for Fr. House, and the smallest is just under 1" made from palm leaf, both from Mexico; and one set, from Italy, that has over 1,000 pieces.  The collection will be on display Sunday, July 15 to Tuesday, July 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Donations for this exhibit will be accepted to support the Priest Retirement and Health Fund and Seminarian Education Fund for the Diocese of Yakima.
