Bulletin Announcement: Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life at St. Joseph Parish Yakima

The Ignatian Spirituality Center of Yakima invites you to attend an information meeting Sunday, June 24, 2012 about the annual offering of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola at 9:15 am in Schoenberg Hall at St. Joseph Parish inYakima.  This year we will be offering the full nine month retreat, known as the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life (SEEL) beginning in September and running through May.  In addition, for those who cannot make a nine month commitment we will be offering another adaptation of the exercises known as Lightworks, which is a three part retreat that lasts for a few weeks at a time.

These Exercises were written by St. Ignatius of Loyola as a way of developing a deeper more meaningful relationship with Christ. It is a tradition that was begun 400 years ago and is offered throughout the world.  It was a gift to the universal church and is a deeply personal path to God.  The retreat has been summarized as recognizing God as Love and experiencing Love loving.

Please join us and find out more about these offerings.
