Dear Confirmation Candidate:
This letter is just a reminder of the information you will need to know. The Confirmation Ceremony will take place on Sunday May 27, 2012 at the 11:00am Mass in English 1:00pm Mass in Spanish at St Paul Cathedral.
Prior to that, each candidate must be prepared for the Sacrament in their own parish. Please talk to your pastor to receive instructions on the Sacrament of Confirmation. There will be one rehearsal for those ADULTS being confirmed that will take place on Wednesday May 23rd, in the Assembly Place beside the Church at 6:00pm. It is important for you and your sponsor to attend this rehearsal on Wednesday as it will include vital details regarding the ceremony on Sunday May 27.
If you and your sponsor are absolutely unable to attend on Wednesday, please contact me on Tuesday for instructions about Sunday and bring your information to the parish office before Wednesday May 23. If for whatever reason you have decided not to be confirmed at this time, please call me to let me know by Wed May 23.
The Bishop would like to meet with those being confirmed only, ½ hour before the ceremony in the Assembly Place beside the Church. If you are being confirmed at the 11:00am Mass in English, please meet in the Assembly Place @ 10:30am. If you are being confirmed at the 1:00pm Mass in Spanish please meet in the Assembly Place @ 12:30pm.
